Onvector is a member of the Corporate Plasma Alliance at Drexel Plasma Institute. The A.J. Drexel Plasma Institute is the largest university-based engineering research center focused on non-thermal plasma science and technology in the United States. The Institute was founded to advance the scientific understanding of non-thermal plasma and to develop and apply plasma-based solutions in areas such as energy, medicine, and environmental remediation and control.
Onvector was instrumental in the development of a research project entitled, “Development of Plasma Technology for the Management of Frac/Produced Water” funded from April 2013 through March 2015, by the U.S. Department of Energy through RPSEA (the Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America). Onvector is contributing costshare support, focused on industry validation of the new technology, to Drexel Plasma Institute in partial fulfillment of this research contract.
